Spread the love

I love being reminded each week on Sunday of the love of my Savior and Father in Heaven by taking Sacrament.

I had a strong witness while taking the Sacrament this last week how powerful the love of our Savior is for His sacrifice, the love He had for our Father in Heaven, and the love our Father in Heaven has for all of us to experience growth, repentance, and renewal.

It was a new thought and great experience for me because all I could think about is how the Sacrament represents love. The love represents the blessings and connection we gain with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Love is the feeling I had in my heart. It felt right. It felt like I knew exactly why I was partaking of the Sacrament.

It is a gift. It is a gift and remembrance of all that our Savior is doing for us. It is a gift from our Father in Heaven to keep partaking of it to receive the blessings.

The gift is love.

The blessings are:

  • Coming to know Jesus Christ more
  • Repenting from sins
  • Renewing from thoughts and actions and words
  • Striving to be better
  • Relying on the gift of the Holy Ghost
  • Guidance of the light of Christ
  • Enduring to the end

These are some of the many blessings and they are so graciously given and received all through the wonderful gift and feeling of love.

1 Nephi 15:36

36. Wherefore, the wicked are rejected from the righteous, and also from that tree of life, whose fruit is most precious and most desirable above all other fruits; yea, and it is the greatest of all the gifts of God. And thus spake unto my brethren. Amen.

It’s wonderful to know that as we partake of the Sacrament, as we come to know our Lord and God we will receive the greatest of gifts from God, which is love.

Love from Jesus Christ and Our Heavenly Father

The love that can heal all wounds.

The love that can strengthen our spirits.

The love that can light our path.

The love that can open up new opportunities and experiences.

It’s the greatest of gifts because we can receive it anytime that we come unto Him. He is always willing and ready to share the love. It’s so beautiful.

I love when Ronen prays. He so often says in prayers, “We are so grateful for OUR God and that OUR God loves us.”

It’s so true. I love that Ronen knows that OUR God loves ALL OF US. Heavenly Father is God to us ALL and desires for each of us to come to Him in prayer, somber, and ponder. He desires OUR love as well.

If I can choose any gift to receive in this lifetime is knowing that God is real, that He is constantly available for me, and Is willing to have a flow of continuous love.

I am receiving it, I know it. It’s love. I receive this gift through partaking of the Sacrament, pondering in prayer, and looking to Him as many times a day as I can.

One of my favorite times I feel His love is when I am in need of comfort. I feel His comfort when the thought comes to my mind, “I have got you. I am going to be there with you through it all. Things will get better and it will be great.”

I love His comfort and His gift of loving peace.

It. Is. The. Greatest. Of. Gifts.
